About Nathaniel Tetteh's work:
Photo Theme:
The Brotherhood
Photo Story:
On the 12th of March, 2018. I came across a group of metal scrap dealers at the Kpone beach. The young men had been contracted to scrap a ship for recycling. I approached one of them and told him I would love to take a picture of his guys working. He agreed and then permitted me to capture the moments through my Nikkor 18-140mm lens mounted on a Nikon D7000 camera.

I was able to convince them to take a group picture together in front of the same ship they're about to scrap down for recycling. I decided to use "The Brotherhood" as the theme because it signifies them working collectively to scrap this big old ship down into small chunks of scraps.
How long has Nathaniel Tetteh loved photography:
14 years long.
How they discovered their passion for photography:
My Dad bought his first film camera when I was a young boy growing up. We usually take candid pictures whenever we have the chance. Although the camera is now damaged, I still have access to the undeveloped film, and I hope to develop it one of these days.
